Quick and easy hummus

Chick peas are a fantastic source of protein and fibre. They are also high in folate, iron and B vitamins.

This hummus is really easy to make and makes the perfect snack. Dip with your favourite vegetables, spread on toast or dollop on your salad. 


1 can of chickpeas 400g
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp tahini
Juice of 1 lemon
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper for seasoning


Blend all ingredients together and serve with some extra virgin olive oil and crudites or pitta bread.
